The Fisherman's Road Fishing Club was founded in 1992. There are currently 1270 members in the club. Funds from the membership are used to maintain the clubhouse, dredging of the landing, removal of zebra muscles from boat ramp, parking lot, lighthouse, breakwater, rebuilding of the docks, restroom facilities, maintenance and purchasing of trucks/tractors used to plow the lot, ice roads during the winter fishing season, maintaining and making new ice bridges, all property maintenance and the equipment used in the maintenance.
